Information for Prospective Members
Dear Prospective Members,
Thank you so much for visiting our website! The Dressage Club is so excited every year when we get to meet with all our new members before tryouts. Please check back at the schedule page to see updated information on when we will be holding our new member meeting this semester.
The Dressage Club is a great way to make new horse-enthusiast friends here at Cornell! Whether you're new to the discipline or have been riding dressage for years, welcome! We take horseback riders from all different backgrounds. Our only requirement is that you can walk/trot/canter without assistance. We hold tryouts every year to gauge the skill of our potential new members, with rides provided! Once again, check back to our schedule as the dates for tryouts will be updated once we have them.
If you are able, please look at the information below so you can be prepared for the new member meeting. There are forms to be filled out, and we appreciate you taking the initiative so everything can be turned in on time! However, please DO NOT pay anything to the IDA or give any checks to us at this time. They will be requested after you have officially been invited to join the club.

Step 1: Go to http://www.teamdressage.com and hit members log in the top right corner
Step 2: Click on Register under New Rider. Fill out all profile information and classification form.
Step 3: Click on Print Application. Print out the form, fill it out, and bring it to the new member meeting or tryouts.
Step 4: Go to forms to have access to the second form you must complete.
Step 5: Print and fill out the first page of the IDA Risk Waiver. Bring this form to the new member meeting or tryouts.
