Major: Economics
Riding experience: Monica grew up in Massachusetts and has been riding since she was five years old. She competed up to training level eventing in addition to schooling through second level dressage. Training horses is another one of Monica’s passions; she began her partnership with her horse, Birdie, when she was a young off-the-track thoroughbred and they grew into a competitive team. Monica currently rides at the First Level for the team.

Vice President: Will Engelhardt
Year: Sophomore
Major: Biology
Riding experience: Originally from a farm in Bellevue, Idaho, Will has achieved the C3 Dressage/Eventing and HB Pony Club Certifications and competes at Upper Training in IDA shows. When not in school, he can often be found at the barn trying to stop his horse, Max, from biting everyone.

Major: Chemical Engineering
Riding experience: Ruchi grew up riding in hunter/jumper barns in the Chicagoland area, but discovered a love for flatwork during her senior year of high school. One thing led to another, and she joined the Cornell Dressage Club her freshman year, where she currently rides at the Lower Training level. Her hobbies include snuggling the barn dogs, contemporary poetry, and sword fighting with dressage whips.

Riding experience: Katie grew up on a small farm in upstate New York near Saratoga. She rode hunter/jumper before coming to Cornell and has a seven year old horse named Simon. In addition, two more horses, a chicken, a rabbit and several goats call her farm home. Katie is an animal science/pre-vet student at Cornell and has been on the dressage team since freshman year. She is also an active member of the Pre-Vet Society.
